It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe The public high school Rade Jovchevski Korchagin -Skopje was established on 01 December 1960 as the fourth high school in the Macedonian capital. Today the school counts approximately 1000 students, distributed in 32 classes, 8 classes in each school year.
The school curriculum is that of a general high school-gymnasium. The curricula for high school education are prepared in accordance with the legal provisions outlined in four parts: required courses and electives, compulsory elective programs, project activities. During the first and second year of studies the students gain knowledge of all areas, whereas the third and fourth year focus on different study areas in accordance to the students choice - science-mathematics stream, social-humanistic stream or linguistic-artistic stream.
The high school curricula comprise the subject Entrepreneurship and Innovation as elective subjects for the students. So far, within this subject, the teachers together with the students have organized Garage Sale in the City Commerce Mall; Bazaars; Retro Fashion, etc. The students are being introduced to a new way of learning by doing, which the other high schools don't have. The high school has participated in several projects under the Erasmus + on the topics of entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and digitalization and it is part of the Junior Achievement program for high school entrepreneurship. The school was part of the first edition of the "STRET – Teachers Toolkit” working on entrepreneurship with students in high schools, forming and leading companies, and participating in numerous student competitions.
