Job shadowing activity: Lithuanian teachers explore innovative teaching methods in Italy

In early May (05.05 – 11.05), two teachers from Radviliskis Lizdeika Gymnasium in Lithuania traveled to Amalfi, Italy, for a job shadowing mobility - our special part of the project. During their week-long visit, they got a firsthand look at how things are done in Italian schools.

Meeting with school leaders, teachers, and students, they gained valuable insights into the workings of Italian education. They experienced a strong sense of community and inclusivity, permeating every teaching aspect. Witnessing the opportunities provided for students with disabilities and those from diverse backgrounds to fully engage in lessons was truly inspiring. Their exploration extended to the science labs, where they discovered innovative approaches to making learning both exciting and accessible to all.

Returning home, the Lithuanian teachers overflowed with fresh ideas from their Italian experience. Eager to enrich their school environment, they are enthusiastic about implementing these newfound strategies to benefit all students.
